How long does the installation take?
Installation times vary depending on the size and complexity of your pool. However, most installations are completed within a day by our professional team. We’ll ensure the system is fully operational before we leave, so you can start using your cover right away.

Will you need to dig up my pool surround?
On outdoor pool the cover system uses build in solar panels to charge the built in battery pack along with a wireless controller so there is absolutely no need to dig up the area.

Can you install Coverseal covers indoors?
Yes the Coverseal system is great for indoor pool as it totally seals the pool off reducing the demand and energy use of the dehumidifier. It can also be setup to automatically reduce the air temperature when the cover is on the pool.

How safe are Coverseal covers?
Once the cover is closed it will withstand the weight of an adult and one child in compliance with the strictest standards (AFNOR NF P90-308 of December 2013)

Will a coverseal pool cover keep my dogs out of the pool?
Absolutely, when the Coverseal pool cover is on the pool should your dogs walk over the cover they will be absolutely fine.

Does the cover require much maintenance?
The maintenance requirements of the system are minimal compared to other safety cover systems.

Is the cover housing available in different colours?
Yes the cover housing can be supplied in any non metallic RAL colour. It can also be supplied with a mirrored finish.

What colours can I get the cover material in?
The cover material is available in Dark Grey (RAL7037), Light Grey (RAL 7035) Black (RAL 9005), Beige (RAL 1015), Dark Blue (RAL 5002), Light Blue (RAL 5015), Green (RAL 6026)

Will wires need to be installed to the remote?
No the remote is battery powered and uses a wireless transmitter so doses not need any wires.

Do you have stock of the Covers?
All Coverseals are bespoke to your exact pool size. Therefore every cover is made to order.

Can I come and look at a cover?
Yes absolutely, you are very welcome to come and see us and have a look at our Coverseal in action. Alternatively we can take you to see an installation at one of our customers property’s. If either of these options is of interest please contact us so that we can arrange this.

Will a power supply need to be installed for the cover?
As outdoor Coverseal systems use solar power outdoor units do not require a a power supply to be installed. Indoor systems will require a power supply for the auto charging dock.

What is the maximum size the cover can be?
The maximum Coverseal size is 9m x 25m

Will you measure my pool to check the sizes?
Before the Cover is manufactured we will complete a full site visit to determine the exact dimensions of your cover.

Can I perform shock treatments when a Coverseal is on?
You can perform this type of treatment but it is advised to leave the Coverseal open for 24/48h in order to avoid strong concentrations/emissions of chemical products which could damage your Coverseal.

How does the Automatic system work when there is no sun?
The system of photovoltaic panels charges the batteries, whatever the weather conditions are. The panels need light above all and not necessarily a blue sky.

What is the batteries’ lifetime?
The lifetime of the batteries in the Automatic and Semi-Automatic models is about 4 to 6 years under normal conditions of use. However, when weather conditions are very unusual (very high or very low temperatures), the batteries’ lifetime may be impaired.

What is the membrane’s lifetime (due to wear)?
It needs to be estimated that the membrane will need replacement after 10-12 years under normal conditions of use and depending on the environment as well as climate of the country where the Coverseal is sold (frost, snow, extreme heat, sand etc.)

How much does a new membrane cost?
The membrane can be replaced if it is damaged. The average cost of a membrane is around £3500-4500 excluding VAT (not including fitting).

Can I use a Coverseal pool cover in all seasons?

Does the cover need to be regularly recalibrated?
No, unlike other covers, this cover will not require recalibrating at any time.
